  • Feek.live is a social networking portal that enables live chat in a foreign language with people from all over the world. Feek.live helps to improve development of foreign language skills ​​and making new friends.

  • 2. Who is Feek.live for?
  • Feek.live is intended for anyone open to talk who is at least 13 years old. The main idea of feek.live is the active learning of a foreign language. Feek.live also allows meeting new people, cultures, views and opinions.

  • 3. How to join Feek.live?
  • Feek.live is a general access portal. In order to join the feek.live community, just register on the feek.live website.

  • 4. What opportunities does Feek.live give?
  • Feek.live, in addition to learning and further development of foreign language skills, enables users to express their opinions. It allows to meet new people, new cultures in video rooms, create themed rooms and meet other users in a private room.

  • 5. What are the rules of the portal?
  • On the portal all users are obliged to respect the Terms and Conditions that is presented to each new user during registration. Making a decision to register a feek.live account is equivalent to familiarising oneself with and accepting the Terms and Conditions by the user.

  • 6. Who is a "Feeker"?
  • "Feeker" is a person who is registered on the feek.live portal  and does not conduct educational activity.

  • 7. Who is a "Tutor"?
  • "Tutor" is a person who has the right to teach foreign languages.

  • 8. How much does the access Feek.live cost?
  • The cost of access is for free.

  • 9. What do I need to use Feek.live?
  • In order to use feek.live the user must have access to: (1) a computer, a laptop, a tablet, a smartphone or other multimedia with Internet access; (2) electronic mail; (3) Internet browser supporting WebRTC technology: Mozilla Firefox version 54.0, Opera version 46.0 and higher, Google Chrome version 59.0. and higher; (4) web browser's option to store Cookies and use Javascript enabled, (5) a microphone and a webcam.

    iOS version 11.0 is supporting WebTRC technology.

  • 10. Camera and microphone settings

    If you want to have a conversation on Video Chat, the equipment you use must have access to the Camera and Microphone.

    Go to the feek.live page and when you see the information about sharing the Camera and microphone, select Allow.

  • 11. Why is the quality of video link unsatisfactory?
  • The quality of video link in video rooms depends on the speed of Internet connection. The minimum required Internet connection speed is 1.5 Mb/s, and the recommended speed is 3.0 Mb/s.

  • 12. Is conversation in a video room unavailable?
  • Check the speed of your Internet connection. The minimum required Internet connection speed is 1.5 Mb/s, and the recommended speed is 3.0 Mb/s.

  • 13. I have not received an e-mail confirming creation of my account?
  • If you have not received an account activation email, first check the correctness of the email address. If the email is correct, select "Send again". In case this did not help, please send an email with the content "Username" to support@feek.live

  • 14. What if another user is speaking another language than the one you choose?
  • If another user does not follow the rules concerning the chat language, ask him or her to leave the room. If this does not help please leave the room and join another video room. If the situation with the user repeats, please report the "Display Name" of this person to the portal administrator.

    My account
  • 1. How to create an account on Feek.live
  • To create a profile on feek.live select "Registration". Complete all required fields on the registration page. Finally, read and accept the Terms and Conditions and confirm creating an account. An account activation e-mail shall be sent to the e-mail address given at the registration. After confirming the e-mail, the account is created. 

  • 2. What data is required to create a Feek.live account?
  • When creating an account, it is necessary to enter the user name, e-mail address, gender, password, date of birth, country and time zone. All data given is required for the portal to function properly. The given data must reflect the truth.

  • 3. How to update user data?
  • You can update your profile data at any time. To do this, you must log in and enter "My Profile". Then select the area you want to upgrade, add or change. Finally, do not forget to save your changes. Chat in a video room may not always satisfy you, it is dependent on the strength of the Internet connection.

  • 4. How to delete the account?
  • We are sorry you  want to leave the feek.live community. To delete your account, please go to "My Profile" and select "Deleting Account".

  • 5. How to manage privacy?
  • The data given at the registration stage is stored by the portal in accordance with the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. 

  • 6. Who has access to information provided by me on Feek.live?
  • In accordance with the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, the feek.live portal has access to the information and additional data provided at the registration stage.

  • 7. Who can see my profile?
  • Feek.live is a general access portal. All users have access to information on the user name, age, country, account type, language skills and interests. Users who are your friends have also access to the e-mail address, surname and links to social profiles (Facebook, Twitter, Google).

  • 8. Why is it worth to add data in "My profile"?
  • By completing the data in the My Profile form, you become more recognisable to other users. 

  • 9. I have forgotten my password.
  • If you have forgotten your password, select "Forgot password?" when logging in. You will be asked to type your e-mail address. Once you write your e-mail address, an e-mail will be sent to you with your username and password.

    By entering a username and password you can re-login to your account.

  • 10. I have forgotten my username.
  • If you have forgotten your "Display Name", select "Forgot password?" when logging in. You will be asked to type your e-mail address. Once you write your e-mail address, an e-mail will be sent to you with your username and password.

  • 11. How do I change my password?
  • If you have decided to change your password, go to "My Profile" and select "Change Password". Then, write your current password and enter a new password. Confirm saving the changes.

  • 12. Can I have several accounts?
  • We encourage you not to create several accounts so that other users always know who they are talking to, who they are about to invite to a private room. Up to one account on the portal can only be assigned to one e-mail address.

  • 13. How do I add a profile photo?
  • If you want to add a profile photo, go to "My Profile" and select "Basic data". Then click on "Change photo" and choose the photo. The photo has been added.

  • 14. Who can see my profile photo?
  • Feek is a general access portal. Profile photos are visible to all users.

  • 15. How can I add my social media accounts on the feek.live website?
  • Log on to your social media account (Facebook, Twitter or Google+). Click on your profile. Copy the address https://... of your social media account in "Additional information" found in "My profile" on the feek.live website. For your Facebook account, copy https://... to the field "Facebook profile". For your Twitter and Google accounts, copy the address to the "Twitter profile and "Google profile" fields, respectively.  Click "Save".

  • 16. How to change a profile photo?
  • f you want to change a profile photo, go to "My Profile" and select "Basic data". Then click on "Add picture" where you choose the photo. Finally, click "Save". The photo has been added.

  • 17. When is the account deleted?
  • Persons who violate and breach the Terms and Conditions of the feek.live portal will have their accounts deleted. And severe violations of the Terms and Conditions will be reported to competent authorities.

    Community
  • 1. Who can join the Feek.live community?
  • Feek.live is a general access portal, anyone interested in using the portal can join the feek.live community. Just register on the feek.live site and accept the Terms and Conditions of the portal.

  • 2. Who can I meet on the portal?
  • Feek.live is a general access portal where you can meet various people from all over the world.

  • 3. Can I decide who I meet in the video room?
  • Having access to the Feek Free, Feek Basic, Feek Start subscriptions you cannot decide who you talk to. During video chats you randomly meet people from all over the world who have selected the same language, level, age group and topic. By purchasing the Feek Full, Feek Short, Feek Long subscriptions, you can invite selected participants to a private room.

  • 4. When should I report abuse on the portal?
  • Violation of the Terms and Conditions by other users should be reported without delay. To do this, send an e-mail to feek.live with the subject "Abuse" to contact@feek.live.

     

  • 5. Do I have influence on building Feek.live community?
  • Yes, by joining the portal you are already building feek.live community, you can invite all your friends and family to feek.live at any time. By creating themed rooms or tutors' advertisements, you influence the form of the portal.

    Video chat rooms
  • 1. What is a video chat room?
  • Video chat rooms are places where feek.live users speak in a foreign language. Owing to a video camera and speakers, the users of feek.live can see and hear each other.

  • 2. What are the types of video chat rooms?
  • On feek.live there are three types of video chat rooms: open, thematic, private. Access to each room type is dependent on the subscription.

  • 3. How to get to the video rooms?
  • To enter a video room you need to be logged in. Then choose one of the types of video rooms: open rooms, thematic rooms, private room and enter it. Access to individual rooms is dependent on the subscription purchased. 

  • 4. When can I cancel a video chat?
  • You can leave the selected video room at any time. Of course, do not forget to tell the people you talk to about it.

  • 5. Can I turn off my video camera and sound?
  • Yes, at any time you can turn off your video camera and sound, of course, do not forget to tell the people you talk to about it. Also remember that feek.live is an interactive portal where we want to talk to people live and have a visual and verbal contact with them. 

  • 6. What communication rules apply during video calls?
  • The rules of communication during chats in video rooms are regulated by the Terms and Conditions of the portal. As in every interpersonal interaction, the rules of good manners apply. 

  • 7. How to leave a video room?
  • In order to leave a video room, click on the "red phone" icon.

  • 8. Can I return to the people I talked to before in video rooms?
  • Only in the case of a private room you can return to the people you talked to. In other cases, this is impossible because the system randomly selects a video room based on your choices: language, age, level, topic.

  • 9. How am I assigned to a video room?
  • Each time the system randomly selects a video room based on your choices: language, age, level, topic.

  • 10. What to do when no one is in the room?
  • It may happen that there is no one in the video room selected at the moment. In this case, we suggest waiting for someone to join or leaving the room and changing your preferences.

  • 11. What if the quality of the chat is unsatisfactory?
  • Chat in a video room may not always satisfy you, it is dependent on the speed of the Internet connection.

    Open video chat rooms
  • 1. What are open video chat rooms?
  • Open video chat rooms are video rooms that allow users to talk live on general topics in a selected foreign language.

  • 2. Who has access to open video chat rooms?
  • Access to open rooms is available to all users who are registered on feek.live. Feek Free and Feek Start subscribers can use the open rooms daily for one hour.   „Feeker” -  Feek Basic and Feek Full, „Tutor” - Feek Short and Feek Long subscribers can use the open rooms 24 hours a day. 

  • 3. How to enter an open room?
  • In order to enter an open room, click "Open Rooms" and then select the language, level, preferred age of the participants, and chat topic. Confirm your selection by clicking "Start Chat".

  • 4. What are the rules in the open rooms?
  • In the open rooms we talk on the general topic and observe the rules contained in the Terms and Conditions of feek.live.

  • 5. What are the main topics in the open rooms?
  • The main topics are categories that will help determine the scope of the chat with other feek.live users in the open rooms.

  • 6. Who creates main topics in the open rooms?
  • The main topics in the open rooms are created by the feek.live portal. There are 10 main topics to choose from.

  • 7. How to choose the main topic in the open rooms?
  • When you decide to enter an open room on feek.live, select the main topic that interests you. 

  • 8. Are topics in the open rooms constant?
  • The main topics are constant, they concern timeless topics. Of course, the portal reserves the right to change the main topics at any time.

  • 9. When are the main topics changed in open rooms?
  • Users are informed about changes of the main topics on an ongoing basis and the portal introduces the changes within the specified date.

  • 10. Who can use the main topics in the open rooms?
  • The main topics can be used by any registered user of feek.live.

  • 11. Can I offer a main topic in the open rooms?
  • No, the main topics are created by the portal. Instead, any user who has purchased the Feek Full option can offer their own topic by creating a themed room. Topic in a themed room that violates the Terms and Conditions of the portal will be removed from the board with themed rooms. 

  • 12. Do I always have to choose the main topic in the open rooms?
  • Yes. If you cannot decide on a specific topic, you can choose the topic "Free chat" where users decide what they want to talk about. 

  • 13. Do I have to talk on the main topic in the open rooms?
  • Yes. If you want to talk on a topic other than the one selected, just re-select the main topic or choose "Free chat".

  • 14. What if another user raises other main topics than the selected one?
  • Ask him or her to change the room or return to the topic selected.

  • 15. What is the main topic of the "Free chat"?
  • This is a topic in an open room, available to all users who want to create their own chat topic. 

    Level
  • 1. What is a language level?
  • The language level determines your level of skills of a foreign language in which you want to speak to other users on feek.live.

  • 2. How to determine the language level?
  • The language level is specified by yourself, based on your own knowledge. Three language levels are available on feek.live: A - basic level, B - intermediate level, C - advanced level. Determining the right level is important to communicate at a similar level to other users.

  • 3. What language level should I select?
  • Select the language level that best defines your foreign language skills.

  • 4. What are the language levels?
  • Three language levels are available on feek.live:

    A - basic level,

    B - intermediate level,

    C - advanced level.

  • 5. When do I select the language level?
  • The language level is specified when you decide to enter one of the open or themed rooms. Specifying the level allows for entering the room where you meet users with the same language level as you.

  • 6. When can I change my language level?
  • Each time before entering an open or themed room, you specify the level of chat that you think is the most appropriate for you. We believe that we will help you to improve your foreign language skills in a short time.

    Thematic video chat rooms
  • 1. What are thematic video chat rooms?
  • Thematic video chat rooms are video rooms for users who want to talk on specific topics. 

  • 2. Who has access to themed rooms?
  • Access to themed rooms is available to all users who purchase the subscription to "Feeker" - Feek Basic and Feek Full, "Tutor"-  Feek Short and Feek Long.

  • 3. Who creates themed rooms?
  • Themed rooms are created by users who have purchased subscription to Feek Full and Feek Short or Feek Long.

  • 4. What are the rules in the themed rooms?
  • In the themed rooms we talk on a specific topic and observe the rules contained in the Terms and Conditions of feek.live.

  • 5. Are themed rooms constant?
  • No. Themed rooms are created by users and they decide what topics appear on the board of themed rooms.

  • 6. How can I create a themed room?
  • In order to create a themed room just click on "Create a room". Then fill in the form and confirm the saved data.

  • 7. How to select a themed room?
  • After logging in, select "Themed rooms". Active topics will appear on the board. By selecting "Start" you will join other users interested in a given topic in the specified foreign language and level.

  • 8. When can I enter a themed room?
  • Access to themed rooms is available to all users who purchase the subscription to "Feeker" - Feek Basic and Feek Full, "Tutor"-  Feek Short and Feek Long. Each themed room includes information about: topic, language, level, date and time of the chat. The themed room starts at the indicated time which has been set by the creator of the room.

  • 9. Can I enter a themed room when I am late for the start of the chat?
  • Yes, entering a themed room is possible at any time during a chat. The duration of the topic is decided by the creator of the themed room. 

  • 10. How long can I set the duration of a themed room chat?
  • The duration of the themed room chat may not be shorter than 30 minutes and longer than 2 hours.

  • 11. What happens when the indicated duration of the themed room chat expires?
  • If you are in a themed room whose duration has expired, you can continue the chat. Persons who are not in the themed room cannot enter it after the hour indicated as the hour of the end. 

    Private video chat rooms
  • 1. What is a private video chat room?
  • A private video chat room is a place where you can chat live in the language of your choice with people from all over the world. By purchasing the subscrption to Feek Full ("Feeker") and Feek Short or Feek Long ("Tutor"), you have access to a private room and you can invite friends and other users.

  • 2. How to invite other users to my private room?
  • In order to invite users to your private room just click on "Invite to the room". You will find people you want to invite and fill in the form. Finally, confirm sending the invitation.

  • 3. How to enter a private room?
  • Just select "Private room" and click "Start".  Private rooms can be used by anyone who has been invited or owns a private room.

  • 4. Who can stay in a private room?
  • Only users invited by you or by another user can stay in the private room. 

  • 5. How do I receive an invitation to a private room?
  • You receive information about the topic, date and time of the meeting. Feel free to accept invitations which you find in private rooms by clicking "Accept invitation".

  • 6. How long can I stay in a room?
  • A private room is the place where you and people you talk to decide about the duration of the chat.

  • 7. Can I call off a meeting in a private room?
  • Yes. Being an owner of a private room, you can call off a meeting until its starting date. To do this, go to "My private rooms" and select "Cancel" next to the private room. All invited participants will then receive a message about the cancellation.

  • 8. Do I have to confirm an invitation to a private room?
  • No. After you are invited to a private room you can begin a conversation without confirming your invitation.

    Messages
  • 1. How to send a message?
  • Enter "Messages", select "Write a message", then select a person to whom you want to send a message and type the message text. Now click "Send". The message has been sent. Another way is entering a friend's or a tutor's profile and click on the envelope icon.

  • 2. How to receive a message?
  • Enter "Messages", select "Receive a message", all the messages received will be shown.

  • 3. Who can receive my message?
  • You can send a message to anyone registered on the portal who belongs to your friends.

  • 4. From whom can I get a message?
  • You can receive a message from anyone registered on the portal who belongs to your friends.

  • 5. Why do I not receive a message?
  • Having a registered account there is no possibility of not receiving messages. All indications are that your friends have been inactive recently. We encourage you to contact them.

  • 6. How to find old messages?
  • Enter the message subject or username of the person from whom you received the message in the "Messages" search engine. Click the "Search" icon.

  • 7. Why do I receive messages from the portal?

    Friends
  • 1. Who are "Friends"?
  • Friends on feek.live are anyone who has accepted your invitation to friends or you have accepted another user's invitation. 

  • 2. How do I add a person to my friends?
  • If you want to add a friend to your friends, click on "Friends" and then "Search for new friends". Search is performed by entering a user name, language, level or interests. Click on "Add to friends" at the person you are searching for. Your invitation is awaiting approval.

    Another way is entering the profile of the user you want to add to your friends and click on the "Add to friends" icon.

  • 3. How do I remove a friend?
  • Enter your friends list. Select the person you want to remove from your friends. Select "Remove from friends". The person has been removed.

  • 4. Why should I create a list of friends?
  • Having friends, you have easier contact with other users. You can contact them by messages and share information about yourself.

  • 5. How to find an existing friend?
  • Enter "Friends", type the user name you are looking for in the search engine. Click on the "Search" icon.

    Problems
  • 1. How to contact customer support?
  • In order to contact the feek.live portal, select "Contact" where each user  can contact the portal by e-mail. Feek.live tries to answer the questions as quickly as possible.

  • 2. In which language should I contact the portal?
  • Contact with feek.live is possible in two languages, English and Polish.

  • 3. How to ask a question that I have not found an answer for?
  • Send an e-mail with the content "Help" to contact@feek.live . Feek.live tries to answer the questions as quickly as possible.

  • 4. I want to contact about advertising on Feek.live.
